CLUB CODE OF ETHICS

Ø Whereas, the Toledo Water Sports is an officially chartered club of the International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA);

Ø Whereas, the Toledo Water Sports will strive to promote good public relations through their general conduct, the media, club activities and community affairs;

Ø Whereas, the Toledo Water Sports respects the rights of all members of the boating community;

Ø Whereas, all members of the Toledo Water Sports have individually signed the IJSBA Personal Watercraft Code of Ethics and will abide by all local, state and federal laws governing boating and the marine environment;

Ø Whereas, the Toledo Water Sports will strive for cooperation with other personal watercraft clubs and community organizations; therefore, be it

Ø Resolved that the Toledo Water Sports will conduct its activities in the spirit of this Code of Ethics with the purpose of preserving and protecting the interests of personal watercraft operators.

Membership Requirements

Ø Age 16 or older.

Ø Under age 16, must be accompanied by a member age 16 or older.

Ø Under age 18, must have parents written permission.

Ø All members must sign a waiver of liability.

Ø All members must provide proof of watercraft liability insurance.

Ø All members must complete a state-certified boating course within the first year of membership.

Ø Membership fee - $25.00 per year for Individual or Family.

Ø Zero tolerance for alcohol use during any riding event.
