Happy Almost Spring everyone! I have had some trouble with the website, so sorry for the few and far between updates. Everything is going extremely well…our little angel is now 4 years old! Time flies! We had a Shrek 2 birthday party which she loved…just family. Then we took treats and goodie bags to school to share with her friends. She had a blast. We thought it was too early for a kid party yet!! We took her to Blue’s Clues Live for her birthday present…she loved it! Gabriel loved it too…his birthday is next month, so it was a shared present. She danced and “sang” and showed Joe her temporary tattoos…we bought them a t-shirt, which they both want to wear every day. It was the perfect present for our T.V. girl!!

Olivia is now walking, holding onto one of our hands, constantly and very well. She continues to take about 15 steps on her own. She can also climb up and down stairs holding onto the rail; of course someone is always close by just in case! Her new favorite thing to do these days is crawl upstairs, throw stuff from her bedroom down the stairs, and then come back down. She thinks she’s so grown up! Olivia has started standing up from sitting and then taking a few steps all on her own. We’re very proud of the progress in this area!!

Her verbal skills continue to increase and improve. She’s constantly repeating what we all say, and you can understand most of it. She’s using a communication device at school because she’s less vocal there. Probably because she’s so busy with friends! She can name all of her friends from their class picture and if you ask her who her friends at school are, she will say 2-3 names. She has 2 boys (of course!) that she’s particularly enamored with. One has come over for a play date, which they both enjoyed. Olivia has been sick since December with bronchitis, 2 ear infections and the flu, but seems to be getting better finally! I think she’s getting all of her antibodies built up to say the least!

Well, here’s hoping spring comes soon. We’re ready to go outside!! Happy Easter!
