Kitchen Antiques Shipping Policies
A guide to many things that havent happened yet and questions rarely asked...
- We have many years experience in the handling of fragile items. Quoted shipping costs do not include a handling fee. However, we may need to cover packing materials purchased, so postage charges may be rounded up.
- Most of our shipping is done via USPS Priority Mail. We try to mail within 3 days of payment. Additional services, such as insurance or tracking, are available at extra charge. If you decline insurance, we cannot provide adjustments for loss or damage in transit.
- Claims for insured packages that are lost or damaged must be filed by the recipient. Save all packing materials and boxes. We will provide you with the insurance receipt, upon request.
- We will attempt to honor requests for alternate carriers such as UPS and Fed Ex, at cost.
- Items are sold as-is and not on approval. We do not accept returns because something is not as desired. If we have made an error in describing something, we will consider a return. Contact us to make arrangements. The item must be returned in a timely manner and exactly as received. Do not wash or attempt repairs. Shipping is at your expense, though if we did something really dumb we might pick that up, too.
